Hello, 2011

Let’s face it: it won’t really be The New Year until I’m no longer on vacation. At the very earliest, until I am back in Boston.

So, until then, I’m camping out on the parental couch, playing a reckless amount of The Sims 3, reading some Touchstones of YA Literature (Currently mired in a Wild Card – Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry – but I should be through Unleaving, The Language of Goldfish, and Jacob Have I Loved before landing in Logan on the 10th), enjoying carbohydrates and a sedentary lifestyle, and thinking about a resolution (or 120).

I was crying before I fell asleep at 12:15 a.m., January 1st, but I just got an A (without a minus) in that class that bent me over last semester, and I think I’m getting ready to take names.
